Mariano Mestman is a Researcher at the National Council of Scientific Research (CONICET) and at the University of Buenos Aires, Argentina. His works include studies on working class on screen, Latin American and Third World filmmakers, and the Italian Neorealist and John Grierson influences in New Latin American Cinema, among others.
