Keyan G Tomaselli is Distinguished Professor, Faculty of Humanities, University of Johannesburg. He is editor of Critical Arts: South-North Cultural and Media Studies and co-editor of Journal of African Cinemas. His work on Southern issues can be read in Encountering Modernity: 20th Century South African Cinemas (2007), Cultural Tourism and Identity (2012), Writing in the San/d (2007) and in other books and articles in which he explores issues of indigeneity.
